Riverkeeper Fish Migration Celebration
A new annual public art and advocacy spectacle featuring puppet parades, brass bands, and a parade of ships produced by Rhiannon Catalyst, this is a fun and beautiful day for all ages where art and advocacy set sail together! A whimsical flotilla of artist-designed boats, inspired by the fishes themselves, trace their path upriver, turning the water into a moving masterpiece. And leading the way? A larger-than-life sturgeon-themed boat designed by Greg Corbino, a breathtaking tribute to one of the river’s most magnificent creatures. The flotilla connects with waterfront communities up the Hudson River to culminate in a landing celebration at the Clearwater Festival as historic organizations unite to protect the waters we steward and depend upon.
